Coronavirus/Lockdown Update. 28.11.20
After considering the restrictions imposed by the Government for the current lockdown due to come into force on December 2nd, and after seeking advice from the Kennel Club UK, the decision to keep the club closed has been implemented by our governing committee.
Everyone who was booked onto the Puppy courses and Pre-Beginner courses will now be moved to January 4th or 5th 2021.
We are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused.
We look forward to seeing you in the New Year.

CHADKIRK DOG TRAINING CLUB

Coronavirus/Lockdown Update 2nd Nov 2020

After considering the restrictions imposed by the Government for the current lockdown due to come into force on Thursday, and after seeking advice from the Kennel Club UK, the decision to close the club from today has been implemented by our  governing committee.

We have a Pre-Beginner Course and two KC Puppy Foundation Courses planned to start tonight and Tuesday, but in the light of the lockdown restrictions we have decided to postponed these until the end of the lockdown period.
We have chosen to do this so that there is continuity within the courses rather than starting now for one week and then finishing and having to pick it up again in four weeks time. We believe that this is the best way forward for our clients.

We are sorry for any inconvenience caused by the lockdown and we will continue to monitor the regulations to see if it would be possible to reopen sooner, given the existing precautions that we currently have in place.
We hope all our members and clients stay safe and well and we will look forward to seeing you at the end of lockdown.

Best Wishes,
John   KCAI (CD) BIPDTP

Coronavirus Update!

We have been trying to keep up with the rapid changes that are happening due to an upturn in new Coronavirus cases. We believe that the precautions we have in place meet the current legislation and safety requirements. Given this our courses will be running on Monday and Tuesday.

At this stage the wearing of face coverings is optional but from the 8th of August it looks like these will have to be compulsory, but we will continue to monitor the situation and legislation in order that we can keep our clients, and volunteers as safe as possible.

Further updates as more changes come into play.

Hello everyone, well we have started to make plans for our return to training. We will be looking to get back in July for the Puppy and pre-beginner courses. We have yet to set a date as we are monitoring government guidelines and need to be able to have more than 6 people, and be able to train indoors! But things are moving in the right direction and we are all looking forward to welcoming our members back and to helping all our client who sign up for our courses. Take care, stay safe and we look forward to seeing you as soon as WE can do so safely.

Following tonight’s committee meeting we are following Government guidelines to prevent gatherings where there is a higher risk of contracting/spreading corona virus, Covid-19. To this end all classes and courses have been suspended until further notice.
We have not taken this decision lightly and we are sorry and disappointed to have to do so, but we have a duty of care to our clients and all the volunteers who run the club.
If you are currently on a course or were about to start a course, this has just been deferred and we will continue when this pandemic is over and it is safe to do so.
If we can be of help with your training during this time please let us know via our Web pages and we will do our best to get back to you and help with your dog related issues.
I will keep you posted from time to time should there be any further developments.
So keep practicing/training and we will look forward to seeing you all again, hopefully in the not to distant future.
Take care, look after yourselves (and others) and your dogs.
With our best wishes from all at Chadkirk Dog Training Club.
